(English) Ichishiro Kiln: Koto-yaki Pottery
(English) Enchantingly beautiful koto-yaki pottery was first made in Hikone during the closing years of the Edo period shogunate rule (1864-1868), but has recently been revived here in the kilns of Hikone. Ichishiro Kiln sells plates, cups, bowls, flower vases, and more, and also holds a pottery class on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. Please stop by for a visit.
