Yume-Kyobashi Castle Road

Located just in front of Kyobashi Bridge, which crosses over the castle moat, the street is designed to look like the streets of an Edo Period (1603-1868) castle town, with all-white-washed walls and black latticework. Bringing together elements of past and present, this "old-new town" street is lined with shops selling Japanese sweets, Western sweets, and many unique Hikone items.
