Itoju Japanese Sweets

Established in 1809, Itoju has assembled a variety of traditional block-shaped sweets, including the "Umoregi" (bogwood) sweet of the Ii family, historical rulers of Hikone, as well as "michishiba" ("roadside grass"), "awa-no-umi" ("frothy seas"), and "Hikone road"--and a great array of fresh, seasonal sweets besides.
